The first step is for both parties to need an application form. Fill out the application form and submit the form to the marriage register office. This is a total 30 days procedure after submitting the application form you need to wait for 30 days.

If there are no objections to the marriage, and the marriage officer dismisses any objections, the next step is for the parties to appear before the marriage officer and make a declaration. To do so, the parties to the marriage and three witnesses must be present, and they must submit the declaration specified in the third schedule to the act. The marriage officer will also be present to witness the declaration and will countersign it once it has been made.
Once the wedding ceremony is completed and the marriage is registered, the next step is to obtain a certificate of marriage. The certificate of marriage is a legal document that serves as proof of marriage and is often required for various legal, financial, and personal purposes, such as applying for a passport, changing one's last name, or filing for taxes jointly.
