Court marriage can take place between adult men and women of any caste, creed, religion. It can happen between any Indian and foreign young women. For this, it is necessary for both the parties to submit the application form before the registrar. Court marriage is a common thing all over India. It is governed under the Special Marriage Act 1954

Eligibility for applying of Court Marriage in Gurgaon

To be eligible for Court Marriage, the girl must be 18 years of age or above and the boy 21 years of age or above at the time of application.They may belong to the same religion or may belong to different religions.

Documents required to apply for Court Marriage in Gurgaon

(Two documents are required for residential proof from the list given below )

  • Aadhar Card
  • DL
  • Passport
  • Voter id
  • Rent Agreement
  • Electricity Bill
  • Gas Connection Bill
  • Birth Certificate / 10th Certificate / School leaving certificate
  • Passport size photos of Bride and Groom ( 5-5 Each )
  • Aadhar Card of Three witnesses

  • All Original Documents has to carry to the Registrar office
  • Witnesses must be over 18 years of age
  • The bride and groom have to go to the registrar's office twice with their three witnesses
